About The Artwork

"Bringing the cup home, carrying the world together. I remember watching so many games on my 90’s TV as a kid with the commentator’s voice yelling with excitement in the background, and that rush of intense happiness when a goal would score and the crowd would be in complete collective ethereal euphoria. This artwork is close to my heart and now home, recreating a memory that seems so far and bringing it to our region, re-empowering and rejuvenating the strength that we carry through unity and community, reminding us how powerful we are."
