Farid Rasulov
b. 1985, Azerbaijan

Born in Shusha, Azerbaijan, in 1985, Farid Rasulov currently resides and works in Baku. He graduated from The Azerbaijan State Medical University in 2007. However, in the same year, he made a pivotal decision to pivot away from medicine and immersed himself in the realm of contemporary art. This choice led to his notable participation in the 53rd and 55th Venice Biennale. Rasulov is a dynamic and industrious artist who passionately explores various mediums, including painting, 3-D graphics, animation, sculpture, and installation.
