The mist transports me into a dream. It’s so mysterious because you can’t see through it. It’s magical, it’s like a fairytale. But at the same time, it’s also scary, because you don’t know what’s behind it, a little suffocating. I think it brings out a lot of emotions and sensations. I also find bamboo plants as complemntary to the mist, strange and mysterious in their own right. In terms of the technique, I love painting bamboos because of their vertical form, alloiwng me to create depth in my work by placing a few in the background and in the foreground.
