About The Artwork

This Collage artwork is a landscape composition where the artist tries to portray a group of seven people who are gathered to celebrate the union of two families around a table. We can see a bride and a groom with their families having a discussion. The artist adds the old traditional Lebanese chair in her painting as a reference to the time in which this took place. Magazine clippings, newspapers and letters are used in this collage. The artist chose Blue as the dominant color, as it represents tranquility and serenity.
