Artist’s Story

Younes Faghihi, born in 1981, utilizes the movements and composition of traditional Persian calligraphy for his inspiration / He endeavors to disseminate a message of peace and love through his work / After graduating in Graphic Design in 1999, Faghihi received his certificate in Calligraphy from the Iranian Society of Calligraphy in 2001 / He earned his Degree in Visual Arts and decided to devote himself to this field in a professional and academic setting and later obtained a Masters Degree in Advertising Management from the Eastern Mediterranean University / In 2010, Faghihi was invited to carry out artistic research at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, where he stayed for 8 years / This was an experience that was decisive and strongly inspired Faghihi’s works / He lives and works in Paris, France/
